Tour The Anheuser-Busch Brewery

Anheuser-Busch Brewery

With all these craft breweries popping up, it can be hard to remember that one of the most iconic breweries in the world is right in your backyard. The Anheuser-Busch Brewery is a St. Louis institution, and you can tour it for free. The General Brewery Tour lasts about 45 minutes, and spots are open on a first come, first served basis. You can also pay $5 if you want to reserve a spot. Tours run Monday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Get the details and head to the brewery the next time you want to learn some interesting facts about beer.

The General Brewery Tour

First things first. Yes, you will get to see the famous Clydesdales. You won’t just see them from a distance, either. You’ll go to the stables and actually see them up close. These horses are gorgeous, and you’ll seriously get chills when you see them. They look even more majestic in person.

You’ll also learn all about Anheuser-Busch’s history. You probably know the basics, such as how it all began with German immigrants coming to the United States. However, the history is a lot more detailed, and it’s very interesting. Plus, the guides are typically funny, so you will laugh as you learn. That’s the best way to take in new information, isn’t it?

As you learn the history, you’ll get to see the basic brewing areas, and you’ll get a free sample of beer. You get to choose between Budweiser and Bud Light, and you’ll also get a token to take to the Biergarten to use it for whatever is on tap. The Biergarten is really cool, so save some time for it. You can take in the urban landscape while sipping some of the best brews in St. Louis.
